We are facing a problem after adding BIML Express to VIsual studio 2019.
the menu is not displaying and there is an error popup as following.
BIML features are currently unavailable while we wait for Varigence to provide an update to the BIMLEngine component.

BIML has been deprecated in BI Developer Extensions. You need to download BIML express installer from Varigence.

i fixed the issue, you have to install old ssdt, for example now the version is 4.0 but if you put the version 3.16 everything will be fine

Thanks Ricardo.. It seems SSIS updated to version 4.0 which is default version if we download and install form Manage Extension in Visual Studio 2019. BIML Express is working for SSIS Version 3.16 and older version only. I downloaded SSIS 3.16 version from Visual Studio Marketplace - SQL Server Integration Services Projects - Visual Studio Marketplace and Now, BIML Express working fine in Visual Studio. Highly appreciate your quick response... Thanks you very much again..

We have also run into this problem. Developers who use the newest SSIS, which comes by default via Visual Studio itself, can no longer use BIMLExpress. We are now stuck, as using the 3.16 version of SSIS is not an option for us.

It's time for Varigence to update the plugin. All new users, using a fresh install of Visual Studio + SSIS + BIMLExpress, will run into this problem. You cannot expect them to go in and downgrade to older versions of SSIS.

I was able to resolve the issue; however, you will need to install an older version of ssdt. For instance, the current version is 4.0, but if you use version 3.16, everything will function normally.
